Gangstereo is an electronic rock / breakbeat / bigbeat / industrial music project from Kazakhstan, founded in 2016 by producer and composer Mike Freequency. In 2018, Gangstereo released its debut album From Dusk Till Dawn, blending live instrumentation - guitars and drums - with electronic synthesizers, effect units, and drum machines, creating a distinctive hybrid of analog energy and digital precision. The project’s sound spans from dark industrial grooves to high-energy breakbeats and cinematic atmospheres, drawing influences from classic big beat, techno, and experimental electronic music. Gangstereo’s releases have appeared on labels such as Smash Walls Records, Wicked Area Records, Out Of Doors Records, as well as through his own creative association Dirty Sound Syndicate. On stage, Gangstereo also performs as 'Gangstereo Live' , featuring session drummers and guitarists, bringing the studio sound to life with raw performance dynamics. Collaborations include Dogz Or Godz, Takuma, QuantX, Low XY, Moan, Armahgeddun?, and others.
